What is your goal?
The e-grin goal is to motivate, encourage, and inspire others to do their part in helping make our Earth a better and more sustainable place! We believe that in order to make a difference in the world, we need to change the way we consume, because everything starts with us!
SUSTAINABILITY
Where are your products made?
When we first started e-grin, we scoured for manufacturers who could provide us with beautifully crafted products at a price-point that would be fair to consumers and that are utilizing modern technologies to turn the sustainable materials into seriously awesome products. To that end we spent a great deal of time hand selecting a few international manufacturers who possessed the expertise to satisfy our rigid quality demands as well as being willing to align themselves with our mantra of waste reduction. Our products are made and shipped direct from a few carefully hand-selected manufacturers in Japan and China. Emphasis has been made to ensure our manufacturers satisfy industry regulations and that employees are treated ethically. We've also taken great care to eliminate as much plastic and waste from the supply and logistics chain as possible.
Where is the bamboo used in your products sourced from?
Our bamboo is sourced from plantations in Japan and China that adhere to sustainable farming practices. We've ensured that our bamboo is not sourced from areas that have destroyed natural forests in order to harvest bamboo. Since our bamboo is sourced from managed plantations, we have ensured that we are not competing with animals that rely on bamboo as a food source. Don't worry, no pandas were harmed in the making of your toothbrush!
Is online shopping really sustainable?
While it may seem better for the planet to only shop from stores in your town, the truth is, many people don’t have access to truly sustainable products locally–and end up shopping wherever they can–whether it be a local market or the corner store. And sadly, most of these stores do not source truly sustainable products from mindful brands. This means your money, might be spent shopping for options that, by design, are not as sustainable for our planet as they could be.
So e-grin mission is to make online shopping a more sustainable experience. By offering eco-friendly products in one easy online store, we’re able to reach those who might not have access to sustainable goods. Our goal is to make shopping sustainably so easy everyone can do it.
PAYMENT
How is my order secure?
e-grin is Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant, which means we abide by industry regulated rules required to transact payments on our site. We also use a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to process customer details, and the actual processing of your credit card is done securely by our credit card processor, PayPal.com. e-grin doesn't retain any customer credit card information.
What payment methods can I use?
You can use any Credit Card or Debit Card, PayPal and Apple Pay in our secure checkout.
Do you ever sell customer data?
We don't sell any customer information. To us, that’s bad business!
SHIPPING
When will I get my order?
Some items take a few days (or longer) to be assembled and packaged. When shopping on e-grin, each product detail page has a notice regarding shipping times. The time it takes to receive your order also depends on your distance from the shipping origin. Items usually take between 1 and 3 weeks to arrive but as just we said, it depending on the destination, may take longer from time to time.
