We are talking about the menstrual cup and the washable sanitary pads, both indispensable products to reduce the pollution caused by plastic pads. The menstrual cups are made of hypoallergenic silicone and if used correctly can last up to 10 years, allowing you to practice sports or motor activities without problems. The sanitary pads, which are identical in shape and size to the traditional external ones, better collect the flow and significantly reduce the risk of allergic reactions or irritations. The fabric that composes them is made of bamboo fiber, breathable, antibacterial and easily washable both by hand and in the washing machine.
Plastic cotton buds are the eighth most common piece of plastic pollution found on our beaches and seas. They are not recyclable and too often find their end in nature where they can stay for up to a couple of centuries. An article that is used for less than a minute but causes so much damage to the environment should be biodegradable. For this reason the best solution are undoubtedly the bamboo cotton buds.
